Since we've finished our End-Of-Year fundraiser, we've gotten a few questions about how the prize drawings are going.

Fulfilling the prize draws is actually a multi-step process. As you can imagine, Covid adds another layer of complication.
Even so, we wanted to take an opportunity to explain to you how it all works.
Step 1: Plugging in the data. The first thing we have to do is organize all of the data into one central location.
Step 2: Choosing Winners. Once all of our prize draw entries are pulled together into one place, it's time to run the code and choose the winners! The winners are chosen at random by a computerized process so we can be sure that it's truly randomized.
Step 3: Packing Prizes. Once we know who is getting what prizes, it's time to package them all and get them ready for shipping. Since we're being extra careful because of Covid, this takes a bit longer than in years past.
Step 4: Shipping. Once everything is packaged for shipping, they get picked up from our warehouse and enter the national and international mail system.
Step 5: Arrival. Hooray! This is the step in the process where your prizes are delivered to you!
