Schmidt Spiele originally published The Quacks of Quedlinburg in 2018, and North Star Games released an English version after the game won Kennerspiel des Jahres that same year. In July 2022, North Star Games rebranded as Northstar Games Studio to focus on digital and analog titles for hobby gamers.
