Road Trip! Max Overacts Art Print

Caanan Grall

Originally debuted at the Calgary Expo once upon a time, this 11"x17" art print depicts a classic scene from webcomic Max Overacts by Caanan Grall. Collected in two volumes, Max Overacts is a wonderful webcomic by writer and artist Caanon Grail about adolescent thespian Max Fogherty, who wants nothing more than to be the greatest actor in the world.

This art print was included in the Max Overacts DELUXE bundle, but is available now for purchase in Worldbuilders Market. Caanan Grall has given us permission to recreate the print and distribute it for him! This will be the first in a whole new line of Max Overacts merch we are going to be creating in collaboration with Caanan!

All proceeds go to Worldbuilders, a geek-centered nonprofit supporting humanitarian efforts worldwide.

Caanan is an Australian cartoonist living in Calgary, AB. He travelled to Canada because they have lots of water and Degrassi.

He has a formal degree in advertising/copywriting, and no desire to use it. His big break came with a local Ballarat company, Wizard Books (later ziptales.com) illustrating children’s literacy books. Since then he has gone on to do uncountable storyboards, some work for Cambridge Press, and Oxford Press, some self-published comics, and the 180 page Celadore at zudacomics.com, a story about monster busting, wish fulfillment, spitting in cereal, and whatever else I could fit in there.
